Along with the heat and rain, mother nature produces beautiful flowers and produce to share at the market. Sunflowers and zinnias, potted plants, flowering and vegetable plants for your garden makes for a beautiful rainbow of colors. Field peas are now in and in much demand. Come early to get what you want! Shelled peas, butterbeans, corn, squash, beautiful eggplants, okra, kale, Swiss chard, cabbages, onions, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes (heirloom and field), all varieties of greens, micro greens, fresh basil, lettuce , jams, jellies, and other condiments and much more. A variety of healthy meats (Angus grass-fed beef, pastured pork, ostrich, chicken), eggs, goat cheese products, local honey, freshly baked breads, scones and desserts are available at each market. We continue to practice social distancing and following the governor’s mandate to wear masks. Thank you for continuing to keep the community safe by following these guidelines. The Thursday market is at 604 W. Morganton Road from 9-1 and the downtown Southern Pines market on the corner of NY & Broad is on Saturday from 8-noon, both in Southern Pines. We hope to see you soon!
