July 16-18
Zinnias and sunflowers are in full bloom now and quite plentiful! Vegetable and flowering plants are also available. July is the time for the best fruit choices (peaches, blueberries, cantaloupes, and watermelons)! Corn, green beans, butterbeans, peas, squash, kale, Swiss chard, broccoli, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, beets, eggplant, microgreens and more. Mouth watering heirloom tomatoes such as Cherokee purple, German Johnson, and cherry tomatoes are ready for those summer sandwiches, Gazpacho, and other sauces and specialty dishes. Delicious breads and desserts, condiments (pickles, jams and jellies) are straight from the oven and ready to devour! Social distancing is still our norm along with facial coverings at the market. Thanks to all for complying in order to keep us all safe! We look forward to seeing you on Thursday next to the Armory (9-1) and Saturday at the downtown park on the corner of NY & Broad in Southern Pines (8am-noon)!
