What is not to love about a warm day for the Thursday market in February! A predicted 58 degrees is a far cry from last week’s brutally cold day! Back to the Thursday market is Misty Morning Ranch with their ostrich meat and products! Other meats include chicken, grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and fish (fresh fish, shellfish, scallops, sunburst trout, sheepshead and quarts of shrimp bisque). Winter greens and vegetables (kale, Swiss chard, collards, turnips, spring onions, cabbage, beets, microgreens varieties, broccoli, and parsley) are offered along with greenhouse tomatoes, fresh lettuce, farm fresh eggs and local honey. We have breads and desserts and condiments such as jams, jellies, and pickles. We hope to see you at the Morganton Road location next to the Armory in Southern Pines from 9-1.
