Watermelons, cantaloupes, peaches, and blueberries are the summer’s best fruits and they are here at the Moore County Farmers Market on Thursday and Saturday! All the summer vegetables are now plentiful! Add the four varieties of meats (fish, grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and ostrich) along with the dairy (eggs, and goat cheese) and you have the makings for a summer feast! There is local honey, lettuces, tomatoes, cucumbers, breads (loaf, croissants, banana and zucchini bread, pretzels, other coffee cakes, cookies and more), condiments (pickles, jams, and jellies. This is practically one stop shopping! We look forward to seeing you on Thursday at 604 W. Morganton Road (9-1) and on Saturday in the downtown park on the corner of NY & Broad (8-noon), both in Southern Pines! Eryn Jones Fuson , the harpist, will be the musician for Saturday.
