Saturday in downtown Southern Pines from 8-noon the Moore County Farmers Market will be at the park on the corner of NY & Broad. The weather forecast is bright and sunny, a big change from last week. Many of your favorite springtime vegetables are coming in and are at the market. With warmer weather we should see more berries by next week! Fresh lettuces, tomatoes, kale, asparagus, cabbage, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, zucchini squash, green onions, green peppers, cucumbers, duck and chicken eggs, meats, local honey, and fresh breads and desserts are just some of the offerings. We are still encouraging social distancing even though the mandate for outdoor masking has been relaxed. We always look forward to seeing each of you at the market.
