We are excited to have PEACHES back at the market now and this will probably be the last week for strawberries. New potatoes (also white and sweet), asparagus, green beans, onions, radishes, lettuces, greenhouse and heirloom tomatoes, beets, kale, Swiss chard, squash, cucumbers, are among the latest produce at the market. Other greens (micro greens), cabbage, healthy meats (Angus grass-fed beef, chicken, ostrich), eggs, goat cheese products, local honey, mushrooms, fresh breads and desserts are also available. Social distancing and masks are expected at the market to keep us all safe. We want you to “point, pay, and exit” (our ppe’s) and vendors have prepackaged much of the produce for your convenience. We appreciate your effort to “help us and you” to stay healthy and not spread the virus among ourselves. The Thursday market is open every Thursday next to the Armory from 9-1 in Southern Pines, and the Saturday market is open in downtown Southern Pines from 8-noon at the park on the corner of NY & Broad.
