The Thursday market is open year round next to the Armory in Southern Pines on Morganton Road from 9-1. The Saturday market is open at the downtown park in Southern Pines on the corner of NY & Broad from 8-noon. Those in attendance are asked to wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus to others. Also, we will adhere to the 6‘ distancing rule at all times at the market. Hand sanitizers are available for use by vendors and customers. Only one customer or family unit will be allowed to purchase at a time. Others should stand back 6 feet to wait. We are discouraging attendance of small children and dogs at this time. No hula hoops, balls, music or food demos will be provided until further notice. As much as possible everything will be pre-packaged. Please “point, pay, and exit” quickly. We will have strawberries, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers (pickling and slicing) , lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, radishes, asparagus, red peppers, green onions, micro greens, meats (chicken, pork, and ostrich), eggs, local honey, herbs (cilantro, chives, dill, thyme, basil, and parsley), sweet potatoes, beets, delicious baked goods (breads, cookies, scones, and more).. To be safe from contamination, we encourage everyone to “get in, get out, and get home”. We appreciate your business and cooperation as we figure out how to best navigate this pandemic and remain healthy.
