A nice balmy 76 degrees is predicted for shopping Thursday at the Moore County Farmers Market! Come out and enjoy selecting a great variety of meat and vegetables and other condiments. Hilltop is having a special on beef short ribs. Buy one and get one for half price! Also available is pastured pork, farm fresh chicken and eggs, ostrich meat, and fish (shrimp, scallops, clams, rockfish, black bass, and flounder). Fresh produce includes tomatoesw, lettuce, winter greens, broccoli, cabbage, collards, beets, turnips, parsley, spring onions, micro greens, and green onions. Local honey, fresh bread and desserts, condiments of jellies, jams, and pickles. Thursday we will have George Jones (Pat) at the market with flowering plants and vegetables. Hanging baskets will be available from Bonlee Grown Farms. It is nice to think ahead of spring planting! The market is open from 9-1 next to the Armory in Southern Pines. Social distancing and facial masks are still being requested. We always look forward to seeing you at the market!
