It is with great sadness that we have lost a valuable member of our MCFM team. Terry Burris worked for Dale and Sharon Thompson (Hilltop) for many years at the farm and at the market. He passed away last Sunday morning. We will surely miss his calm and easy demeanor with everyone he came in contact with. Our condolences go out to his family. His service will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Stanley Funeral Home Chapel in Albemarle. Our Thursday market will be open from 9-1 at 604 W. Morganton Road in Southern Pines. Join us for fresh and delicious produce, meats, eggs, tomatoes, local honey , breads and desserts, jams, jellies, and pickles, hanging baskets, plants, and more. We hope to see you soon!
