Mark your calendars for Thursday and Saturday at the Moore County Farmers Market. The Thursday market is open from 9-1 next to the Armory in Southern Pines and Saturdays from 8-noon in the downtown Southern Pines park on Broad Street. Blueberries are now becoming plentiful along with peaches. Summer produce is beautiful and very fresh with farmers only traveling a short distance to get to the market. There is a wide variety to choose from in every rainbow color. Healthy meats, eggs, goat cheese products, local honey, fresh and delicious breads and desserts, cookies, snacks, and more are at each market. Flowers (cut and potted), hanging baskets, and some herbal plants are available. Social distancing is still in place as well as a request to wear masks. We will make every effort to keep the community safe as you come out to shop at the markets. We appreciate our customers and your patronage!
