What’s at the market this week? In fruits and vegetables we have blueberries, peaches, figs, kale, turnips, sweet potatoes, new potatoes, salad greens, micro greens, lettuces, greenhouse tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, radishes, squash, zucchini, fennel, kohlrabi, plants for your flower or vegetable garden, and more. In meats and poultry we have Angus grass-fed beef cuts, pastured pork cuts, chicken, fish (on Thursday), and ostrich. For dairy and eggs we have goat cheese and farm fresh eggs. Specialty items include delicious breads and desserts, jams and jellies, pickles, bird houses, hanging baskets and potted plants and more. Join us each Thursday from 9-1 at 604W. Morganton Road and on Saturday from 8-noon at the corner of NY&Broad at the downtown park, both in Southern Pines.
