We have been honored again by being nominated for the Best Farmers Market in Best of the Pines! This is the last week of voting and Moore County Farmers Market would really appreciate your vote. Go to the Arts and Community section to find us. We appreciate your patronage, support, and now, your votes! The voting ends on the 28th, so won’t you take the time to vote now? The Thursday and Saturday markets still have a full range of products. We are lucky enough to have peaches for at least this week. Get them before they are no longer available! Late tomatoes are coming in and are very tasty! Summer vegetables, healthy meats, eggs, goat cheese, local honey, lettuces, microgreens, delicious breads (scones, too) and desserts are at both markets. Thursday customers will see pansies, violas, snapdragons, and dianthus plants. Other plants and cut flowers will be at the Saturday market! Join us on Thursday from 9-1 next to the Armory on Morganton Road and on Saturday at the downtown park from 8-noon on Broad Street across the street from the post office, both in Southern Pines.
