April 9

April 9

Because the Farmers Market is considered in the same category as a grocery store for purchasing essential goods, we are open on Thursday on Morganton Road in Southern Pines from 9-1. The Saturday Market is scheduled to open on April 18th in downtown Southern Pines. The Monday market at FirstHealth has been delayed until further notice. You will be notified when it opens on the website (moorecountyfamersmarket.com) and Facebook. We will continue to practice 6 foot distances for everyone. Signs and cones will be reminders of this practice. Goods from the market will be prepackaged for your convenience so that you can Point, Purchase, and Exit (our ppe’s) quickly. Hand sanitizer is available for sale (Bonlee Farm) and vendors will wipe down their tables with a Clorox and/or anti-bacterial solution. Please wear your mask (and gloves if you have them). And most importantly, please do not come to the market if you are not feeling well. We want to do our part to keep us all well and healthy. Many good choices are available for a good nutritious diet. Angus grass-fed beef, pastured pork, chicken, ostrich, eggs, local honey, cucumbers. radishes, lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, collards, goat cheese, jams, jellies, pickles, breads, and delicious scones are all available on Thursday and more as the weather warms for the Saturday market. Hopefully we will have strawberries and tomatoes by next week. So as a gentle reminder, remember for market, “Get in, get out, and get home!” for the benefit of us all! Many thanks for your business and cooperation!
