April 25th
The downtown Southern Pines farmers market will be open Saturday from 8-noon on the corner of NY & Broad. To keep the flow of traffic manageable at the market we are asking everyone to enter (at any point) and move to the RIGHT in a ONE WAY traffic pattern. All vendors and customers are required to wear a face mask. Gloves are optional, but frequent hand sanitizing is encouraged by all in attendance. We will have strawberries, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers (pickling and slicing) , lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, radishes, asparagus, red peppers, green onions, micro greens, meats (chicken, pork, and ostrich), eggs, local honey, herbs (cilantro, chives, dill, thyme, basil, and parsley), sweet potatoes, beets, delicious baked goods (breads, cookies, scones, and more). Most goods will be prepackaged for you so that all you have to do is “point, pay, and exit”. Small children and dogs are discouraged from coming. No hula hoops, balls, music, or food demos will be provided at this time. To be safe from contamination, we encourage everyone to “get in, get out, and get home”. We appreciate your business and cooperation as we figure out how to best navigate this pandemic and remain healthy.
