We will have a cold but sunny day for the market on Thursday. Bundle up and look for great buys at the market. Hook and Larder will have shrimp, scallops, squid, swordfish, flounder, triggerfish, crabmeat, and a limited amount of oysters. Hilltop will come with a trailer load full of Angus grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and a few standing rib roasts for holiday cooking. Other produce includes winter squash, yellow and patty pan squash, cabbage, lettuce, microgreens, turnips, sweet potatoes, broccoli, ginger and more. Local honey, eggs, goat cheese products, apples, breads and desserts are also available. The market is open from 9-1 and is located next to the Armory in Southern Pines.
